Photos truly can’t capture the full magic of this piece the ”Rainbow Factory” coating combined with the glitter inlay sparkles brilliantly in the light, adding a touch of enchantment to you world. This one is truly one of a kind as a crystal exploded in the chamber during the rainbow coating process causing it to dump material! I truly cannot recreate this exact surface if i tried! this one has it all! so much fun! what a happy accident!
This one was a joy to create and represents hours of meticulous work. Each piece in this series is completely one of a kind, featuring hand-mixed porcelain, glaze and glitter, thrown in two pieces, drippy slip, and detailed carving. It’s finished with a shimmering glitter inlay, a PVD coating, and real gold accents. The lil guy has gone through three firings, a trip to get coated and back and a cold-working process to achieve its final, radiant form. It’s more like fine jewelry than vessel. I think its perfect as a cotton swab holder on a bathroom counter but it could hold anything you choose.
