Aurora Borealis Glowing Glitter Drip Fine Art Mug

$485.00
sold out

This Northern Lights design was inspired by a trip to Alaska in 2015. I saw the Aurora Borealis glowing in the sky and new I wanted to find a way to capture that vibe in my work. This design is a culmination of all of my techniques combined to create a unique glowing piece of functional art.

Creating these gems is a process filled with time, care, and boundless enthusiasm to craft something truly special just for you!

Imagine owning a one-of-a-kind, hand-made, wheel-thrown mug with a touch of glittery magic!

Photos struggle to capture the true essence of this piece – The glitter works its magic, sparkling delightfully in the sunlight! And when the lights go out the the glowing drips are completely out of this world! The creation process was not just work; it was a joy. Each mug stands as a singular masterpiece adorned with 22kt gold accents, having undergone 3 firings, and a meticulous cold working process. This is more than a mug; it's akin to owning a piece of fine jewelry.

Behind the scenes, I meticulously carve, glaze, gold, and glitter – all to bring this 16oz mug to life, perfect for your favorite cup of coffee or tea, adding an artistic touch to your daily routine.

Now, here's a friendly heads-up – this mug is not just a functional piece; it's a work of art. It's not microwave or dishwasher safe! To ensure its lasting beauty, I recommend handwashing and gently drying the glitter with a towel afterward to prevent water from sitting on the surface. The epoxy bond is strong but something this special needs a bit of tender care to be enjoyed for many years to come in peak condition.

I hope you fall in love with this creation just as much as I enjoyed making it. Get ready to elevate your sipping experience with this extraordinary mug!

Cheers to artful moments! 🌈✨
